⌗ Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions.

Which appliance cools most economically in summer?

A fan: depending on size it draws only 2 to 50 watts, while a portable air conditioner draws 0.7 to 1.0 kWh per hour. On moderately hot days the fan is clearly the cheaper choice; only the air conditioner offers real cooling.

Fan heater or central heating: which is cheaper?

Central heating is usually three to four times cheaper per kilowatt hour. A fan heater only pays off briefly and occasionally, for example to quickly preheat the bathroom, not as permanent heating.

What CADR output does a bedroom air purifier need?

For a 15 to 20 m² bedroom, roughly 190 to 250 m³/h CADR is enough. More important than the maximum value is a quiet night mode below 25 dB, so the unit does not disturb your sleep.
