TriPole USB desk fan (360°): what works, what doesn't?
What works well
- Brushless motor: Copper motor runs quieter and lasts longer than simple brushed motors in the same price class
- 360° tilt: Tilts smoothly up and down, so the airflow hits exactly where it should
- Very light: At 155 g and about 13 cm height it packs easily into a bag
- Easy cleaning: Removable front cover makes cleaning the blades uncomplicated
- Flexible via USB: Runs from a power bank, laptop or car adapter, 1.5 m cable gives room to move
Points of criticism
- Short range only: As a mini fan it cools the person in front, not a whole room
- No battery: Without a power bank it is always tied to a USB cable, not truly cordless
- No-name brand: With TriPole, warranty and spare-part supply are harder to judge than with branded appliances

Build quality & everyday use
What carries the TriPole USB desk fan (360°) in everyday use: brushless motor (copper motor runs quieter and lasts longer than simple brushed motors in the same price class) and 360° tilt (tilts smoothly up and down, so the airflow hits exactly where it should). We have to be honest about the weaknesses: short range only (as a mini fan it cools the person in front, not a whole room).
If you set the device up to save space, make sure it stands on a stable, level surface with some air around it. This protects the mechanics and electronics in continuous use.
